STAFF

Executive Director

Jack Terrill

Jack has a long and varied career that eventually led him to becoming Executive Director of Wentworth Economic Development Corporation.

Born in Brooklyn NY, raised and educated in New Hampshire, Jack was awarded a Master of Science degree in Community Economic Development from Southern NH University in 2006.

Jack’s career can be divided into halves. One half was in the for-profit arena, and one half operating in the world of non-profits. Jack was a leader in the heavy highway construction industry for over 20 years, working for the publicly traded largest producer of road materials in the world as well as two large family-owned firms in New England and Southwestern Pennsylvania. Jack has also held leadership positions in the non-profit world, specifically for many years with United Way and now with Wentworth Economic Development Corporation.

Jack has a residence in Naples Florida, and spent a couple of hurricanes down there, keeping himself busy with such divergent activities as an employee of Seed to Table, real estate agent with Keller Williams, and giraffe docent at Naples Zoo.

But the birth and subsequent gravitational pull of two grandchildren proved too much for the distance between Kennebunk Maine and Naples Florida. Jack now splits his time between Wolfeboro and Portsmouth NH and is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to serve as Executive Director of the “most impactful job I’ve ever had”.
